Sara Damergi is one of the most recognisable faces on daytime TV. Having spent almost a decade travelling the world as well as the UK helping people change their lifestyles and homes on shows such as A Place in The Sun and Coast vs Country for Channel 4, Sara has built quite a formidable reputation in property, travel and lifestyle expertise.
Sara has a unique background she is mixed race, her father is a Lebanese Muslim and her mother is British. She has lived in Beirut and escaped the war as a child with her mother, but now counts Lebanon as her much-loved second home and the location of her property business amongst others.
Sara has a property portfolio of approx 20 flats and shops in both the UK and Lebanon. Some of which she is currently finishing building with her brother in Beirut. She has a very unique and worldly property background that spans property finding in London in the 90s to development overseas with her late father.
Sara recently wrote and contributed her expertise to a study of PropTech in Sweden which was published this year. She sits on the board of PropTech Sweden and regularly contributes blogs and hands-on support to the proptech network that supports and helps tech companies in property and construction.
Sara is also advisor for 3D home printing Charity New Story who are part way through building the first ever 3D printed village! Plus she co-owns e-mobility company Nektta which is just rolling out its first trial of ebike chargers in Stockholm.
Sara has used her background and expertise within this arena for live corporate hosting and is in popular demand having chaired numerous debates and led many panels at private, corporate events for companies like Housing company WHG through to the Landlord Investment Show.
Sara very much enjoys a debate and can be seen regularly appearing on the panel for shows such as Good Morning Britain (ITV), Jeremy Vine (C5) and reviewing stories on Sunday Morning Live (BBC1). Previously she presented The Great Big British Quiz a live quiz format for Channel 5, an extreme sports show 'The Crunch' (filmed across remote China), had her own show on BBC Radio Sussex, did red carpet reporting for ' MTV and also fronted a long form interview with Keith Lemon to name a few.
Travel and immersion in new cultures, traditions and alternative lifestyles is a passion of Sara’s as are issues in The Middle East. Whilst her passion is travel, any spare moment she has is spent enjoying her two sons.
